Caminhada da Paz reuniu famílias e crianças em peregrinação pela paz em Salvador

Approximately 600 people, including more than 300 children, participated in the Peace Walk organized by the Pastoral da Criança of the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia on Saturday, September 26. The pilgrimage moved between the Santuário Santa Dulce dos Pobres and the Basílica Santuário Senhor Bom Jesus do Bonfim.

The event began with a Mass at the Igreja dedicada ao Anjo Bom do Brasil, presided over by auxiliary bishop Dom Marco Eugênio and concelebrated by rector Frei Ícaro Rocha. During the liturgy, participants prayed for the protection of the pilgrims and for the families and communities supported by the Pastoral da Criança.

Organizers distributed the Dez Mandamentos para a Paz na Família, a resource used by the Pastoral da Criança to encourage dialogue, respect, and mutual care within families.
