Pope Leo XIV will visit France from September 25 to 28, marking his first apostolic journey to the country since his election. The four day trip includes stops in Paris, Saint-Denis, Lourdes, and Metz.

During his time in Paris, the Pope is scheduled to hold official meetings at the Élysée Palace and the UNESCO headquarters. At UNESCO, he will address topics including international peace, education, and cultural challenges.

The visit follows the theme "So that the world may have life" and seeks to promote human dignity and solidarity. This journey occurs as the French Catholic Church sees an increase in adult conversions, with more than 21,000 youths and adolescents expected to be baptized this year.
