Card. Lojudice to preside 40th Regional Convocation of Renewal in the Holy Spirit

Cardinal Augusto Paolo Lojudice will preside over the 40th Regional Convocation of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit on Sunday, October 18, 2027, at the Loppiano International Center. The event brings together prayer groups, communities, and small circles of the movement to renew their commitment to prayer and Gospel proclamation.

Bishop Stefano Manetti will offer a greeting and collect regional group offerings for the diocesan Caritas. Rosario Sollazzo, the national coordinator of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit, will deliver the main report, while priest Alejandro Festa, a regional counselor for the movement, will lead the Eucharistic adoration.

The convocation follows a theme from the Gospel of John regarding receiving the Holy Spirit, accompanied by words from Pope Leo XIV about the sweetness of Christ. Regional coordinator Lorenzo Carradori stated that the gathering seeks to experience a new outpouring of the Spirit.
