Cardinal Américo Aguiar says living after WYD is more challenging

Cardinal Américo Aguiar said that living after a World Youth Day event can be even more demanding than organizing the event itself. The Bishop of Setúbal shared these reflections during the second preparatory meeting for the 2027 World Youth Day.

Speaking at the meeting, which took place from September 13 to 17, Aguiar discussed the impact of the Lisbon 2023 World Youth Day on youth ministry. He suggested that the period following the conclusion of the gathering represents perhaps the most difficult part of the process.
