Cardinal Marcello Semeraro presides over the arrival of the urn of Santa Maria Goretti in Aprilia

Cardinal Marcello Semeraro will preside over a solemn Mass on Sunday, September 20, to mark the arrival of the urn containing the remains of Saint Maria Goretti in Aprilia. The event begins at 17:30 with the arrival of the saint's body, followed by a procession to the parish of Saints Peter and Paul.

The pilgrimage will take place within the Aprilia territorial vicariate from September 20 to September 24. During the stay at the Saints Peter and Paul parish, daily Mass will be celebrated at 8:30, with confessions available from 8 to 12 and from 16 to 18:30.

The schedule includes a Mass on Monday, September 21, led by Father Maurizio Patriciello, the parish priest of Caivano, followed by a meeting titled "Saints by Vocation: Put a Face to Love with Your Life." Other activities include a penitential celebration on Tuesday, a meeting with the elderly and sick on Wednesday, and Eucharistic adoration. Bishop Vincenzo Viva of Albano will preside over the concluding Mass on Thursday, September 24.
