Caritas Huế installs water purification stations in Archdiocese of Huế

Caritas Huế installed water purification stations at various parishes and communities throughout the Archdiocese of Huế to provide clean water to local residents. The "Water for the Community" program is a joint effort between Caritas Sài Gòn, Caritas Huế, and local parishes.

On September 21 and 22, 2026, Father Micae Bùi Hà Ngân, S.J., Father Phêrô Trương Văn Phúc, S.J., and donors visited the stations. These stations serve both urban and rural areas to assist with daily living needs. Local parish priests and sisters manage the stations directly to ensure reliable use for the community.

The program aims to provide safe water while encouraging people of different faiths to work together to protect water resources. Caritas Huế plans to continue the program in future years to increase access to safe water.
