Carriers of the Lantern: carrying Venerable Nano Nagle’s legacy forward

More than 120 students and educators from 17 Presentation schools across Australia recently gathered at Iona Presentation College in Mosman Park for a three day conference. Organized by the Nagle Education Alliance of Australia, the event used the theme Carriers of the Lantern to focus on faith, leadership, and formation inspired by the Presentation Sisters and Venerable Nano Nagle.

Robyn Miller, the principal of Iona Presentation College and president of the Nagle Education Alliance of Australia, said the gathering allowed Presentation students from across the country to unite through their shared heritage and faith. Miller noted that the passion and purpose shown by the participants provides confidence that the legacy of Nano Nagle will continue for future generations.
