Castel Gandolfo celebrates 400 years of papal presence

Castel Gandolfo is celebrating 400 years of papal presence, beginning with Pope Urban VIII Barberini. The town opened an exhibition at the municipal office to mark the anniversary and will hold a historical parade through the streets tomorrow to commemorate the history of the summer residence.
