Catholic Charities to Celebrate Over 100 Years of Service

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fall River will host its Centennial Gala on Thursday, Oct. 22, to celebrate more than 100 years of service to individuals and families in Southeastern Massachusetts. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Rachel’s Lakeside in Dartmouth.

The gala aims to bring together community partners, supporters, and friends to recognize those currently carrying out the organization's mission. Guests will have the opportunity to meet more than 20 program directors who manage various services intended to help people facing challenges throughout the region.

Susan Mazzarella, CEO of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fall River, said the event serves as a way to express gratitude to the community and look toward the future of the organization's mission. The agency provides a network of programs to address immediate needs through service rooted in faith.
