У Тернополі відзначили День підлітка

Ternopil celebrated Youth Day on September 17 with a Divine Liturgy and a discussion session for local teenagers. The events, held within the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, included students from various secondary schools, such as the Ternopil Znamenna Regional Lyceum.

Father Taras Krysa, head of the Ternopil-Zboriv Archeparchy Commission for Education and Upbringing, led the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During his sermon, Father Krysa spoke about the importance of following Christ and listening to the Word of God to make correct life choices and heal relationships. Participants prayed for the spiritual growth and future of young people.

Following the liturgy, teenagers learned about the history of the cathedral before moving to a Christian youth space for an open conversation. Father Krysa and Hanna Zvarych, head of the Commission for Family Affairs and Laity, participated in a program that included a thematic film and a discussion. The session allowed teenagers to ask questions about modern issues and seek answers based on Christian values.
