Владика Володимир: Ми не йдемо самі, а крокуємо за Ісусом Христом

Bishop Volodymyr spoke about the connection between suffering and resurrection during a Divine Liturgy at the Saints Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian pastoral community in Tyrol, Austria. During the service, which took place on the Sunday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, he reflected on the Gospel passage from Mark regarding the necessity of taking up one's cross to follow Christ.

The bishop noted that while people cannot predict future political or economic conditions following the war, Christians should view the cross through the lens of Easter. He explained that the cross and resurrection belong together, just as sorrow is often intertwined with joy in human life. Bishop Volodymyr also addressed human freedom, the responsibility of personal choice, and the importance of seeking the salvation of the soul as the primary goal of life.
