البطريرك نونا يحتفل بقدّاس التناول الأوّل في كنيسة مار ماري ببغداد

Patriarch Mar Paulous III Nona celebrated a First Communion Mass at St. Mary's Church in the Al-Bunuk neighborhood of Baghdad on Sunday afternoon, September 20, 2026. Father Salwan Mikhail, the parish priest, assisted him during the liturgy.

During his homily, Patriarch Nona explained the meaning of the Holy Eucharist to the communicants. He encouraged them to continue receiving communion regularly to support them throughout their lives. The Patriarch also urged the children to participate in the Divine Liturgy, religious education, and church activities alongside their families to reflect the Gospel in their communities.
