St. Andrew the Apostle parish in Sacramento held a day of spiritual renewal and prayer on September 20. Parish administrator Father Vasyl Mizyuk invited Father Roman Bobesyuk to the community to bring relics of Saint Charbel for veneration.

Father Bobesyuk, the administrator of St. Volodymyr Church in Santa Clara, celebrated the Divine Liturgy alongside Father Mizyuk and Deacon Bohdan Monastyrsky. During his sermon, Father Bobesyuk spoke about the cross as an essential part of Christian life, noting that faith allows people to view trials through the light of the Resurrection.

The event provided parishioners with opportunities for confession and prayer before the relics of Saint Charbel. Following the Divine Liturgy, the community blessed married couples celebrating 25 years of marriage.
