Владика Петро Лоза очолив Божественну Літургію для української громади в австрійському Інсбруку

Bishop Petro Loza of the Sokal-Zhovkva Eparchy led the Divine Liturgy for the St. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Pastoral Community of Tyrol in Innsbruck, Austria, on September 20, 2026. Bishop Volodymyr Hrutsa, an auxiliary bishop of the Lviv Archeparchy, assisted him during the service.

During the liturgy, the bishops, clergy, and parishioners prayed for peace in Ukraine, for Ukrainian soldiers, and for those forced to flee their homes due to the war. Bishop Hrutsa delivered a homily on the Gospel call to carry one's own cross following Christ, noting that Christians should view hardships through the lens of the resurrection.

The bishops thanked the local priests and parishioners for their hospitality and their work in building the Ukrainian Church community in Tyrol. They encouraged the community to remain hopeful and to support one another during difficult times.
