유엔 주재 교황청 상임 옵서버: “혐오 선동은 폭력과 박해를 부추긴다”

Archbishop Elcis Cáccies, the new Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, warned that hate propaganda incites violence and persecution during a conference in New York on September 17.

Speaking at a meeting to promote tolerance and interreligious and intercultural dialogue to counter hate propaganda, Cáccies stated that targeting individuals or communities based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, or other characteristics pollutes public discourse. He noted that such propaganda fuels division and undermines freedom.
