Catholic Messenger Conversations Episode 86 – The Woman’s Choice

Christie Schaefer, executive director of The Woman’s Choice Center, discussed the organization's services for women facing unexpected or unsupported pregnancies in a recent episode of the Catholic Messenger Conversations podcast.

The center, located in Bettendorf, provides medical care, mental health counseling, and material support to women in the Quad Cities area. Schaefer noted that the staff assists mothers who choose to give birth and those seeking help following an abortion. She also addressed the rise in medical abortion drugs prescribed through telemedicine and the center's capacity to assist with abortion pill reversal.
