Catholics worldwide invited to join Global Rosary for Peace

Catholics are invited to participate in the Global Rosary for Peace on Oct. 22, the feast of St. John Paul II. Organized by Holy Cross Family Ministries, the international prayer event responds to a call from Pope Leo XIV for the Church to pray the rosary for peace.

More than 95,000 people have already signed up to participate in this year's live global prayer. Father Fred Jenga, CSC, president of Holy Cross Family Ministries, told EWTN News that the event was established to address ongoing global crises and conflicts through prayer. The first global event saw over 67,000 people pray the rosary live.

Holy Cross Family Ministries was founded by Venerable Patrick Peyton, an Irish priest known for his work promoting family prayer. The organization uses this event to encourage individuals, families, parishes, schools, and religious communities to strengthen their prayer lives.
