Archdiocese of Puerto Montt Celebrates Centenary of the Coronation of the Virgin of Carmen

Archbishop Fernando Ramos Pérez led hundreds of faithful, families, and parish representatives in a celebration marking 100 years since the coronation of the Virgin of Carmen as Queen and Patroness of Chile. The event served as the patronal feast for the Archdiocese of Puerto Montt.

The celebration originally planned a procession from Campo de Marte to the Metropolitan Cathedral, but organizers moved the service to the Immaculate Conception College temple due to forecasted weather conditions. Attendees included representatives from parish communities, various church movements, and members of the armed forces and police. Participants carried Chilean flags and community banners during the service.
