Celebrating Hispanic Heritage in Diocese

The United States is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 to recognize the history, traditions, diversity, and contributions of the Hispanic community.

The month-long observance coincides with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries. Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua all recognize September 15 as their national independence day.
