Diocese of Salamanca reports five new vocations

Five young men from the Diocese of Salamanca are advancing in their training for the priesthood this academic year.

Francisco Gómez and Jonathan Gutiérrez are beginning the discipleship stage and will reside at the San Juan de la Cruz Teologado in Ávila. Raúl Hernández, Fredick Jackson Lesangurikuri, and José Antonio Cué are starting the propaedeutic stage after participating in a vocational discernment course last year.

Fernando García Gutiérrez, who oversees the program, described the start of the course as hopeful. He noted that the presence of these men reflects a continued desire among young people to serve the Church and the Gospel.
