COLLE DI VAL D’ELSA IERI L’INAUGURAZIONE DEL CENTRO “L’INCONTRO” PER GLI UNDER 18

The Archdiocese of Siena-Colle di Val d’Elsa-Montalcino inaugurated L’Incontro, a new semi-residential center for people under 18, in Colle di Val d’Elsa. Located at via dei Mille 80, the center provides a space for children and teenagers facing difficult circumstances to gather and receive support in study, sport, and growth.

The project resulted from a collaboration between the Archdiocese, Confindustria, Salesiani per il Sociale, the L’Incontro Aps association, the Fondazione Territori Sociali dell’Alta Valdelsa, and the Società della Salute della Toscana. The company Stosa also contributed to the project.

Cardinal Augusto Paolo Lojudice, archbishop of Siena-Colle di Val d’Elsa-Montalcino, attended the ceremony alongside local officials, including the mayor of Colle, Piero Pii, and the prefect of Siena, Valerio Massimo Romeo. Other attendees included don Roberto Colameo, inspector of the Salesian District of Central Italy, and don Andrea Lupi, president for Central Italy of Salesiani per il Sociale.
