Catholics in Canada to hold Collection for the Needs of the Church

Catholics in Canada are invited to participate in the annual Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada on September 26 and 27, 2026.

The collection supports the work of dioceses and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. According to the Diocese of Québec and the Diocese of Grouard–McLennan, these donations fund evangelization, catechesis for children and youth, and efforts to help families pass on the faith.

Funds also assist with welcoming migrants and refugees, supporting vulnerable or suffering individuals, and promoting human dignity. Donors can contribute through their parishes or online via the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops website.
