Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada

Catholics in Canada will participate in the annual Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada on September 26 and 27, 2026. The collection allows parishioners to support their local diocese or eparchy while contributing to the national work of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB).

The funds help the bishops carry out pastoral work that individual dioceses cannot manage alone. These national efforts include evangelization, faith formation, and protecting human dignity. The collection also supports programs for migrants and refugees and the development of pastoral resources for parishes and the faithful throughout the country.
