Começam na próxima terça-feira (22/09) os festejos de Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus

The Diocese of Divinópolis will begin novenas honoring Saint Therese of the Child Jesus on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The festivities include special programming at the Carmelite monastery and at the community dedicated to the saint located in the Oliveiras neighborhood within the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Parish.

In the Oliveiras neighborhood, the novena schedule begins on Tuesday with a novena prayer and rosary at 19h00, followed by Mass at 19h30 led by Father Felipe Hector de Oliveira. On Wednesday, September 23, Father Guilherme da Silveira Machado will preside over the Mass. On Thursday, September 24, Father Paulo Sergio Diniz Mendes will lead the liturgy, and on Friday, September 25, Father Júlio Antônio de Castro will preside. On Saturday, September 26, Father Quirino José Quadros will lead the Mass. Each evening includes the novena prayer and rosary at 19h00 before the scheduled Mass.
