Comienza la campaña de otoño “40 Días por la Vida”

The Diocese of Toledo will begin its autumn 40 Days for Life campaign on September 24, running through November 1. This lay-led movement, which the Diocese notes has helped save over 25,000 lives and led to the closure of 182 abortion centers worldwide, will focus on prayer and fasting to end abortion in Toledo and Talavera de la Reina.

The campaign includes three main activities. Participants can join in collective prayer and fasting, or take part in peaceful prayer vigils held in one-hour shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. In Toledo, these vigils take place at the intersection of Méjico and Maestros Esparteros streets near the San Ildefonso parish. In Talavera de la Reina, vigils are held at Corredera del Cristo, 39, in front of the Church of Perpetual Adoration. The campaign also includes community outreach through church presentations, media efforts, and door-to-door invitations.

Additionally, the Diocese scheduled a Rosary for Life on October 17 at 6 p.m., which will begin with a procession. Those interested in participating in the campaign must register through the official diocesan link.
