Diocese of Livramento de Nossa Senhora supports Quilombola community

The Bocaina Quilombola community in Piatã held a workshop on September 13 to continue developing its Community Consultation Protocol. This document allows the community to establish how they wish to be consulted regarding decisions that could affect their territory and way of life.

The workshop brought together residents, community leaders, and representatives from the Diocesan Caritas of Livramento de Nossa Senhora. These autonomous protocols are created by the communities themselves to manage external interactions and protect their interests.
