Six faculties of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart have completed a three-year project examining Renewable Energy Communities. The project, titled CER-CARE, studied the intersection of renewable energy promotion and community benefits to produce results for the expanding energy sector.

The study provided a comprehensive look at how these energy communities function through research and practical tools designed to support resilience and equity. According to the Diocese of Cremona, the findings highlight a specific need for increased training within the field.
