Archdiocese of Medellín holds Peregrinación Mariana 2026

Approximately 1,300 people participated in the Peregrinación Mariana 2026 on Saturday, September 26. Families, young people, priests, and faithful walked together to the home of vocations in the Archdiocese of Medellín to prepare for the Missionary Month.

Archbishop Ricardo Tobón Restrepo presided over the Eucharist that concluded the pilgrimage. During his message, the archbishop encouraged the crowd to listen to the Word of God and put it into practice. He stated that the Word of God is not a theory but a person to whom believers unite.

The archbishop also highlighted the example of the Virgin Mary, noting how she listened to the will of the Father and responded with her entire life. He invited the participants to remain united to Mary to help them grow in faith and continue the mission the Lord entrusts to them.
