Convento dei Frati Minori di San Miniato opens Tesori Svelati exhibition

The Convento dei Frati Minori di San Miniato opened the Tesori Svelati exhibition to display the monastery's historical, artistic, and liturgical heritage. The exhibition marks the 800th anniversary of the death of San Francesco.

The display features silver, textiles, liturgical furnishings, and reliquaries containing fragments of the saio, the cingolo, and the ashes of San Francesco d'Assisi. The presentation included remarks from architect Maria Grazia Tampieri, a monument protection coordinator for the San Miniato area, and art historian Claudio Casini.
