Coordinador diocesano dedicado a compartir la fe con los reclusos

The Diocese of Trenton has appointed Kevin Clarke as the new coordinator for the Diocesan Ministry of Cárceles y Prisiones. A resident of Monmouth County and a member of San Dionisio Parish in Manasquan, Clarke previously served as a volunteer providing pastoral care to inmates in several prisons across the diocese.

Clarke transitioned to this role after several years of sharing the Gospel with incarcerated individuals. He previously worked for a national hotel chain before moving into travel and hospitality consulting in 2019. His decision to deepen his faith and serve others began in 2022, motivated by a homily from his priest, Father William Lago, regarding the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

Clarke stated that treating people with dignity and love can change lives, though he noted that such transformation is not immediate. He believes the Holy Spirit remains present within the diocese's prisons through the ministry's work.
