Coração de D. Pedro IV volta a ser exposto na Igreja da Lapa

The heart of Dom Pedro IV will be on display from 25 to 27 September at the Salão Nobre of the Irmandade da Lapa. This exhibition, a joint project between the Câmara do Porto and the Irmandade, traces the life of the monarch and his connection to Porto.

The exhibition is free to the public. It will be open from 14 to 18 hours on 25 and 26 September, and from 10 to 16 hours on 27 September.

The heart has been at the Igreja da Lapa since 1835. It was last displayed in August 2022 before being used for celebrations of the bicentennial of the independence of Brazil.
