Creating Opportunities for All

Nine men with intellectual and developmental disabilities enrolled in day programs at the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence deliver meals to homebound and older adults in the Philadelphia area.

Twice a week, these men load prepared meals into a van and work 3-hour shifts at the Good Neighbor Senior Center in Sharon Hill or the Friendship Circle Senior Center in Darby. They are accompanied by Catholic Charities of Philadelphia staff during these shifts.
