Bedford-Strohm says Churches have power to transform hearts on climate crisis

Lutheran bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm stated that churches possess the power to change hearts in response to the climate crisis. Speaking as the moderator of the World Council of Churches, Bedford-Strohm identified recent devastating flash floods in Nepal as a final warning regarding the terrible consequences of human-caused climate change.

Bedford-Strohm led a delegation of Christian churches to the COP30 United Nations climate conference.
