D. Manuel Linda celebra 17 anos de ordenação episcopal

Bishop Manuel Linda celebrates 17 years of episcopal ordination on September 20. He was ordained as a bishop in Vila Real in 2009 after being appointed auxiliary bishop of Braga by Pope Benedict XVI on June 27 of that year.

The anniversary coincides with the one year mark of a jubilee pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Fatima held in 2025. During that pilgrimage, Bishop Linda announced the Diocesan Synod, which is currently taking place in the Diocese of Porto and is scheduled to continue until 2028.
