Datum steht fest / Registrierung für Weltjugendtag in Seoul startet bald

Registration for the 2027 World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea, will open at the end of October. The German Bishops' Conference announced the date on Friday in Bonn following a preparatory conference in Seoul.

The international youth gathering will take place from August 3 to August 8, 2027. This event marks the first World Youth Day led by Pope Leo XIV. Meetings in Korean dioceses will be possible during the week prior to the event to help participants get to know the country and its people.
