De nouveaux locaux pour les Archives et la Bibliothèque du Vatican

Pope Francis signed a chirograph on September 14 to expand the premises for the Vatican Apostolic Archive and the Vatican Library. The decision follows an increase in the Holy See's documentary production and bibliographic heritage.

The Pope requested the construction of a new building designed to meet the needs of both institutions. Recent opportunities have emerged to create new spaces within the existing area.
