Deacon Weekend: Honoring the Hidden Servants Among Us

The Archdiocese of Denver will observe Deacon Weekend on Oct. 10-11 to honor its deacons. During the event, Catholics are invited to pray for the deacons, thank their families, and support the men in their ministry.

The weekend also serves to encourage new vocations to the diaconate. Deacon Michael Baird, the archdiocesan director of pastoral outreach, will participate in a diaconate training day as part of the scheduled activities.
