Dedication of Days and Months

The Catholic Source Book lists specific religious dedications for each month and day of the week.

January is dedicated to the Holy Childhood, February to the Holy Family, and March to St. Joseph. April honors the Holy Spirit and the Eucharist, while May is dedicated to Mary. June is for the Sacred Heart, July the Precious Blood, and August the Blessed Sacrament. September is dedicated to the Seven Sorrows, October to the Holy Rosary, November to the souls in purgatory, and December to the Immaculate Conception.

Weekly dedications include Sunday for the Holy Trinity, Monday for the souls in purgatory or the Holy Spirit, Tuesday for the guardian angel, Wednesday for St. Joseph, Thursday for the Blessed Sacrament, Friday for the Precious Blood, and Saturday for Mary.
