Delegation for Education and Culture visits workshop at CDP Santiago Sur

The Delegation for Education and Culture of the Archdiocese of Santiago, Fundación Invictus, and Duoc UC visited the carpentry workshop at the CDP Santiago Sur to inspect available machinery and tools. This technical visit helps applicants for the Desks for Chile competition adjust their furniture designs to the specific technical capabilities of the facility.

The competition seeks designs for dignified, functional, and low-cost furniture. Once selected, people deprived of liberty will manufacture the desks to be given to children and youth facing vulnerability or overcrowding who lack adequate study spaces at home.

Father Luis Valenzuela Valdebenito received the delegation at the workshop located on 11th Street. The project is being promoted alongside Sodimac and is currently accepting applications and inquiries.
