Delpini installs 54 new priests

Archbishop Delpini installed 54 priests beginning new assignments during a ceremony at the Centro Pastorale Ambrosiano. The installation included priests appointed to new parishes and those moving to new destinations within the Diocese of Milano.

Delpini told the priests that the Lord and the people are waiting for them. He acknowledged that changes often bring difficulties, bad moods, and uncertainties, but reminded the men that they serve the Ambrosian Church as messengers sent by the bishop. The event also included the creation of two new pastoral communities.
