Sisters Motoko Takahashi and Akiko Usui to attend formation seminar in Kenya

Sisters Motoko Takahashi and Akiko Usui will participate in HOPE 2027, a global formation seminar for sisters under age 65. The event is scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from Tuesday, January 12, to Saturday, January 17, 2027. Members of the new leadership team and sisters from various provinces and regions of the CND will also attend.

During a meeting on August 18, Sister Akiko Usui presented a report from the vocations committee. The committee discussed a project to revise the booklet titled Prière pour les vocations. They also considered a proposal to host a Moment de prière pour les jeunes at the missionary center. This program is an initiative of the Œuvres pontificales missionnaires within the Archdiocese of Tokyo.
