Detroit archbishop: 'Sins against creation are among the very serious sins' (Detroit Catholic)

Archbishop Edward Weisenburger of Detroit said that sins against creation are among the most serious sins. Speaking at a synodal listening session organized by the Catholic Climate Covenant, the archbishop stated that people have an obligation to cooperate with creation and to pass a healthy, livable planet to future generations so that everyone can thrive.

The Detroit Catholic reported that Weisenburger also expressed regret regarding recent federal policy that eliminated tax incentives for electric vehicles built in the United States.
