Diecézní pouť do Assisi začíná

Bishop Martin David and dozens of men and women from the Diocese of Ostrava-Opava began a pilgrimage to Assisi on Sunday, September 13. The group is traveling to visit sites connected to St. Francis, including Assisi, Greccio, Fonte Colombo, La Foresta, or La Verna. The pilgrims also plan to visit St. Rita in Cascia.

The trip coincides with the Year of St. Francis, which Pope Leo XIV declared for 2026. The pilgrims are scheduled to return on Friday, September 18.
