Diocesan Alpha Teams Gathering

Alpha teams from the Diocese of Cork and Ross recently met for a day of formation, reflection, and encouragement to prepare for running Alpha programs in their parishes and Families of Parishes this autumn.

Bishop Fintan Gavin welcomed the participants and shared his personal experience with the program. He described seeing people ask honest questions and develop relationships while being introduced to Jesus, prayer, and the Holy Spirit in a gentle manner. Bishop Gavin told the teams that evangelization starts with personal dialogue and listening to the joys, hopes, and concerns of others before sharing the Good News.
