Diocese de Borba participa da 53ª Assembleia Regional Norte 1 da CNBB – Em espírito de comunhão e sinodalidade a igreja constrói novos caminhos para a evangelização

Bishop Zenildo Luiz Pereira da Silva, C.Ss.R., represented the Diocese of Borba at the 53rd Regional North 1 Assembly of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB). The assembly took place from September 14 to 17, 2026, at the Maromba Center in Manaus.

The gathering brought together bishops, pastoral coordinators, various organizations, and representatives from local peoples and communities to develop new evangelization guidelines for the Regional North 1 area. These guidelines are based on Document 114 of the CNBB, which outlines general evangelization directions for the Church in Brazil from 2026 to 2032.

The assembly focused on synodality, allowing different dioceses and prelatures to share how they implement communal listening and discernment within their local churches.
