Diocese de Juazeiro holds 2nd Meeting of Parish Secretaries

The Diocese of Juazeiro held its second meeting for parish secretaries on September 21 and 22, 2026. The event took place at the Centro de Treinamento de Lideranças in Carnaíba do Sertão and brought together secretaries from parishes across the diocese.

Bishop Valdemir Vicente Andrade Santos and several priests attended the two day gathering. The meeting provided training, spiritual reflection, and a space for participants to share experiences regarding their roles in organizing pastoral life and welcoming the faithful.

Ricardo Guimarães, a specialist in organizational neuro-management, led the sessions. Guimarães shared his expertise to emphasize how the work of parish secretaries supports the effective functioning of local churches.
