Diocese de Mossoró celebra 34 anos de implantação do Dízimo

The Diocese of Mossoró is encouraging its faithful to reflect on the practice of tithing during the month of September to mark 34 years since the system was implemented.

The diocese defines the tithe as a tenth part or ten percent of one's goods. According to the diocese, the biblical tradition of tithing involves families offering ten percent of what they produce to God.
