Diocese de Mossoró será sede da Abertura da Campanha da Fraternidade 2027

The Diocese of Santa Luzia de Mossoró will host the regional opening of the 2027 Fraternity Campaign. The decision was made during a meeting of the Episcopal Pastoral Council of the CNBB Nordeste 2 (Conser) held on September 8 and 9.

The 2027 campaign will focus on the theme of fraternity and the care of children, using the motto regarding receiving a child in one's name. The event is intended to foster communion and participation among the local churches within the Nordeste 2 region, which includes the ecclesiastical jurisdictions of Alagoas, Paraíba, Pernambuco, and Rio Grande do Norte.

During the same meeting, bishops also approved the statute for the Regional Commission of Deacons.
