Diocese of Adria–Rovigo ordains 3 deacons

The Diocese of Adria–Rovigo ordained three new deacons on September 30, 2026.

The newly ordained deacons are Matteo Domeneghetti of Rasa-Lendinara, Marco Sicchiero of Lendinara S. Sofia, and Marcello Pasqualini of Giacciano con Baruchella.

During the ceremony, the diocese noted that the diaconate, like the priesthood and episcopate, functions as part of the body of Christ. The liturgy emphasized that all baptized members of the Church share in a priestly mission rather than being passive recipients of service from ordained ministers.
