Diocese of Asunción publishes today's Gospel

The Diocese of Asunción published the Gospel reading for Friday, 02 October 2026, which commemorates the Santos Ángeles Custodios.

The reading, from San Mateo 18, 1-5, 10, describes the disciples asking Jesus who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. The text notes that Jesus placed a child among them and instructed his followers to become like children to enter the kingdom.
